Clarity, every day.
It’s easy to forget when your last period started. Or to remember a headache clearly but have no idea whether it happened last week or the week before.
Veya is an upcoming app for giving those details somewhere to go. It’s being designed for period and cycle tracking, with modes for trying to conceive, pregnancy, the months after a birth and perimenopause.
You might want a simple date record. You might have a question for a GP and a few notes to bring along. Veya’s purpose is to help you keep useful context, without telling you what your body should be doing.
Start with what you noticed
A headache after lunch or a night of broken sleep is worth recording in ordinary words. We want the app to help you remember the experience without turning every entry into an explanation.
Leave room for missing days
You can record what matters and leave the rest alone. Veya is being designed without streak pressure or scores for a “good” cycle, because a blank date isn’t a failure.
Say what the information can tell you
A logged period, a pattern in recorded symptoms and an estimated date mean different things. We want those differences to stay visible, including when the answer is uncertain.
Let your priorities be your own
People who have periods don’t all have the same goals or experiences. The five modes are choices, with no expectation that you’ll move from one to another.
Make privacy choices understandable
The current design stores logs on your phone, with optional cloud features that run only when enabled. We want to explain each choice plainly, including what it sends beyond the phone and what still needs to be confirmed before launch.
Make room for a conversation
A record can help you remember what you wanted to tell a healthcare professional. Veya is being developed to support that conversation, with a summary you can share, without diagnosing symptoms or replacing care. When something can’t wait, it should say so plainly and show who to call.
Still in development
Veya is coming to iOS and Android. We haven’t confirmed a release date, and the website previews show planned features with sample data.
Every feature is planned to be free for everyone: no paywall, no premium tier, no ads, and we don’t sell data. If you’d like to support Veya, there will be an optional pay-what-you-want contribution through the App Store or Google Play. It unlocks nothing; it just helps keep Veya going.
