Where Veya is different

- Every feature is free, including the doctor summary and the guides. Flo’s doctor report is a Premium feature on iOS.18
- Support after a birth, as its own mode with recovery guidance and when to get help.
- A self-serve export of everything in the app, rather than a request to support.
- Languages Flo doesn’t list, such as Arabic and Hindi.3

If you want every feature without paying

Questions
What was the FTC case against Flo?
In January 2021 the US Federal Trade Commission announced a settlement with Flo Health, and it finalised the order in June 2021. Flo neither admitted nor denied the allegations.19,6,7

Flo’s privacy policy says “We will never sell your data” and that it doesn’t share health data with third parties for marketing. With your consent, it shares some non-health data with AppsFlyer, Firebase and TikTok Ad Manager for its own advertising.5
Can I use Flo without an account?
Yes. Flo says you can use it unregistered, with your data stored only on your device, though you can’t restore it if you reinstall or switch phones.4
